⚠️Sports Schedule Update ⚠️

Dear Riders,

We hope your preparations are going well and we are looking forward to welcoming you next week !

Due to the high number of entries and in order to welcome everyone in the best possible conditions, we have decided to move forward some classes. Please take note of the updated competition schedule, especially for the 1*-Intro, CCIP1S and CCIP2S classes. The dressage tests for these categories will begin on Wednesday, May 27 from 3:30 pm.

WEDNESDAY – Dressage

  • CCIP2S (x30): 3:30 pm
  • CCIP1S (x10): to follow
  • CCI1*-Intro: 3:30 pm GROUP A

THURSDAY – Jumping

  • CCIP1S: 4:15 pm
  • CCIP2S: to follow

THURSDAY – Dressage

  • CCI1*-Intro: 9:00 am GROUP B

FRIDAY – Jumping

  • CCI1*-Intro: 8:00 am

FRIDAY – Cross Country

  • CCIP1S: 1:00 pm
  • CCIP2S: to follow

The Royal Jump Team

  • Where is the Royal Jump held and when does it take place?

The Royal Jump 2026 takes place at Château de Bertichères, in Chaumont-en-Vexin (Oise, France), from Thursday May 28 to Sunday May 31, 2026.

 

  • What competitions are offered at the Royal Jump?

The Royal Jump offers several types of competitions.
On the international side, it hosts CCI classes including CCI1 Intro, CCI2-S, CCI2*-L, CCI3*-S, CCI3*-L, CCI4*-S and CCI4*-L**, as well as pony classes CCIP1* and CCIP2*.

On the national side, the program includes Show Jumping Challenges (CSO), Derbies, and Six-Bar competitions.

Depending on the class, formats, heights, and entry requirements may vary, so it is important to check the appropriate circuit before entering. (See competition rules)

 

  • What are the different CSO Challenge tours?

The CSO Challenges are divided into four circuits:

  • Royal Small Tour: 1.00 m to 1.05 m
  • Royal Medium Tour: 1.10 m to 1.15 m
  • Royal Big Tour: around 1.20 m
  • Royal Gold Tour: 1.30 m and 1.35 m

The Gold Tour is open to both amateur and professional riders.

Each challenge consists of three rounds held over four days.

 

  • What derby classes are available?

The derbies offer several formats depending on level:

  • Derby Cross Club 3 & Pony 2 – 60 cm
  • Derby Cross Club 2 & Pony 1 – 70 cm
  • Derby Club 1 & Pony Elite – 80 cm
  • Derby Cross Club Elite, Amateur 4, and Pony As 2 – 90 cm
  • Derby CSO Amateur 2 Speed – 1.05 m
  • Derby CSO Pro 3 Speed – 1.25 m

The derbies take place in the Château park, including water crossings.

 

  • What are the Six-Bar competitions?

The Six-Bar competitions take place in the main arena on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Two classes are offered:

  • Amateur Six-Bar (Class #16): Amateur Elite special, no time, at 1.30 m
  • Pro Six-Bar (Class #17): Pro 1 special, no time, at 1.40 m

The format consists of a line of six vertical fences spaced approximately 11 meters apart.

 

  • How do I enter a competition at the Royal Jump?

Entries depend on the circuit:

  • International CCI classes: entries must be submitted via the FEI entry system
  • National competitions: entries are made online only via the FFE platform
  • What is the entry deadline? Can I enter on site?

Entries must be made online only, between the opening date and the closing date set to Monday, May 18, 2026 at midnight for national competitions.

⚠️ No entries can be made on site.

 

  • What documents are required to participate?

All riders must comply with required documentation:

– CSO Challenges & Six-Bar: valid 2026 FFE license + competition license adapted to the class level

– Derbies: valid FFE license with current medical certificate, competition license, and required riding level (Galop) depending on the class

 

  • Are there specific qualifications or conditions for horses?

No specific qualifications are required for CSO Challenges, derbies, or Six-Bar classes.

However, some classes have age restrictions:

  • Amateur and Pro derbies and Six-Bar classes are limited to horses aged 7 years and older

The Amateur 4 Derby Cross is also open to Club license holders.

 

  • Is the stable included in the entry fee?

This depends on the class:

  • CSO Challenges: entry includes all three rounds, a straw box for the duration of the event, and 6 accreditations
  • Derbies: the box is included only for the Pro 3 Derby; for others, it must be booked separately (4 accreditations included)
  • Six-Bar: entry includes participation, but the box must be booked separately (4 accreditations included)

 

  • What must be done before arrival?

Before arriving, all sanitary and logistical requirements must be completed.

You must download the BORG EVENTS app to fill in:

  • your vehicle arrival form (truck or car)
  • your stable grouping request

This step is mandatory.

 

  • Is there a veterinary inspection upon arrival?

Yes. Upon arrival, horses will undergo inspection including:

  • microchip identification
  • vaccination check
  • clinical examination (including temperature)
  • verification of temperature records for the previous 3 days

Access will be refused to any horse not properly vaccinated.

 

  • How do I book electricity access for my vehicle?

Electric hook-ups must be booked via FFE Compet.

A pass will then be issued and collected at the riders’ welcome desk.
It is strongly recommended to book in advance.

 

  • Where can I find start lists and results?

Start lists and results will be available on the official timing website: Horse & Competitions

They will also be displayed at the riders’ office on site.

 

  • Is accommodation available on site?
