6th Royal Jump : an international equestrian competition unique in the Hauts-de-France region

A thrilling 3* international eventing competition, derby crosses in the heart of nature on a majestic estate, all brought to life by a village of 50 exhibitors, concerts and much more: look forward to a great show from 30 May to 2 June 2024 at Royal Jump in Chaumont-en-Vexin!

For its 6th edition, the Royal Jump is back to offer much more than just an international eventing competition: it’s 4 days of festivities, combining amateur, professional and club riding, as well as a wide range of events, enabling a wider public to come and spend a few days in the heart of nature.

It’s the perfect opportunity to discover eventing, a discipline that is still little known, despite our gold medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016.

6th edition rhymes with 4 exceptional days

Royal Jump is celebrating its 6th anniversary this year, and is sure to delight professional riders and amateurs alike. This international event, the only one of its kind in this part of northern France, will be welcoming the best riders of the moment over 4 days, who will be competing in a range of events: 1*, 2* and 3* cross-country, show jumping and derbies.

Big names in equestrian sport will be there

The stars of equestrian sport are lining up to take part in and enliven Royal Jump 2024. Double Olympic medallist Karim Laghouag will once again be taking part in this 6th edition; a regular at this competition, he has been the Royal Jump ambassador since its creation in 2017.

In recent years, the Royal Jump event has welcomed nearly 27,000 visitors, 60 exhibitors and 350 riders. Its incredible success is due to the unique staging of the International Eventing partners in a family atmosphere. This prestigious French-style eventing competition works with major players in the industry, as well as in the world of entertainment.

This year, the Royal Jump cross-country course will be designed by Pierre Le Goupil.

The International Equestrian Federation has announced that Pierre Le Goupil has been appointed chief of course for the eventing competition at the forthcoming 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Among the participants will be some of the leading names in equestrian sport, including Maxime Livio, Sébastien Cavaillon, Nicolas Astier, Rodolphe Sherer, Thomas Carlile, Luc Château and Régis Prud’om, as well as rising stars such as Chiara Autin, Julie Simonet and Joséphine Héteau.

Not forgetting the show jumping riders, including Olympic medallist Philippe Rozier.

It’s the perfect opportunity for equestrian enthusiasts to get up close and personal with these inspirational figures in equestrian sport!

Sport and entertainment

As well as the international eventing competition, there will be plenty of entertainment on offer to delight the public.

Numerous exhibitors will be present throughout the event, offering the general public a convivial shopping experience in a green setting.

Numerous concerts are planned, with an exceptional headliner on Saturday 31 May.

At the end of the day, the public can gather around the various bars to enjoy the festive atmosphere and live concerts, as well as clubbing evenings with DJs.

Last but not least, the organisers have pulled out all the stops on the catering front, with a “guinguette” village featuring a host of food trucks serving a variety of specialities.
